I need to know how to switch my media player from quicktime to windows m/p on my firefox browser.



I absolutely hate quicktime, and love WMP, and I just want to switch it over.

Its probably in the QT or WMP preferences, not firefox. Or the file types control panel thing.

well tell me, because it doesnt look like you can change it from there/

tools, options, downloads, then under filetypes you can change what to play what with.

I cant change it in mine, only enable or disable. I guess it doesnt really matter anyway.

delete quicktime from your computer completely. The next time you go to open a file, It will open a window that lets you select what program you want to use to open it. Use wmp and tell it to use that every time.
