I called to check on a job and the guy said he wanted me to come down and talk with him. Hopefully this is a good thing( I havent done this before.). But to sum it all up i now have an intervew next week with the shop manager at MB https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif. Now more bad news for me i got to buy a new car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/violin.gif . My father decided to be an ******* and take the car back becuase i was installing a new radio in and didnt like the fact that i had to run grounds and a power line to the battery. Since he gave me 2k to help buy the car i have to listen to him. So to avoid this again im buying another 7. I guess thats not a bad thing you can never have to many but right now its a really big inconveinance (sp?). Im a little tired and i got to get up early in the morning and catch a ride to a friends house so im going to bed now. Everyone wish me luck on the job! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

You didnt have to run a ground nor a power wire to the battery for the

radio. A power wire for a amp, but not for a radio. And definitly NOT a ground all the way to the battery, the ground wire should always be as short as possible. Good luck though!

oops i messed uo with that it was just a constant power to the battery for memory and a ground to the body sorry for confussion.

I can remember the first radio I hooked up when I was 16, I ran all my wires to the battery, we all have to learn somehow right?

Just take the wires out and make dad happy, dad happy=seppuku happy

there is a constant hot in the factory radio wiring, invest in a test light and

avoid these issues in the future.
