It's a 1987 20 Shamrock Walk Around Cuddy. It's a true inboard with keel and rudder. Basically, for what I paid I could sell the trailer and be even LOL. It has a brand new Mercruiser HO GM 350 in it 280 HP with only 40 hours on it. It sat for 2 years and the motor wasn't running. I filed the cylinders yesterday with PB blaster, let it sit and cranked it up and it runs! Gonna do a little more running today. Doesn't need paint but it needs a good waxing and I've got to get the tanks sucked out and cleaned out. I may pull them out and do that myself. Needs seats cause they were just sitting out in the weather.

This is gonna be the dedicated dive boat, so soon enough you'll see tank racks and I am going to do some changes to the swim platform.

Nice! Looks like a sweet dive boat, lots of floor space, and looks like it could take a few dings from tanks. I'm guessing you're going to add some sort of walk-through to the platform? Lifting gear over that railing would suck.

Did you pull that with the Mazda pickup??

those cockpit sides/hull sides are like paper mache', if installing racks you will have to glass some blocks in first

Any time you wanna come down to florida! I prolly won't have this boat ready for diving until next season, figure we'll take it to the keys where the water temps are a little warmer in the winter. It gets too cold for us here in the winter... water temps drop below 70 we don't go LOL

Yea every 82 and prior boat I have looked at was that way, this was the first 87 i looked at and for whatever reason the sides are pretty thick, that said I'm backing the aluminum track with 1/2 starboard.

Last weekend I redid all the wiring stem to stern... suffice to say when people told me wiring was not Shamrock's strong suit they weren't ****** jokin LOL

I gave the battery's a proper mounting tray in the factory location, ran 1awg wiring for all the battery stuff, ran #10 for all of the rest of the wiring, installed new fuse panel and switches and some sexy new gauges as well as new spark plug wires.

I'm still stuck on what to make the riser for the engine out of, I'm thinking aluminum is my best bet. Installing the new steering was a mess because Teleflex decided not to include a $5 wedge to install the steering on an angled surface, what a fricken joke!
