Dammit!! this is a repost! I usually dont care but when I take time to download a renamed file only to find I just d/l'ed it a week ago.

Blah!!

I have mixed feelings. That engine really hung in there I think its only running on 1 rotor. If they really wanted to impress me they could have left the damn radiator cap on.

Another part of me is pissed because they just ruined a rebuildable engine.

i.didnt.do.it 12-11-2003 03:39 PM

Jim, the file was named pop.wmv...it didnt give you a clue? You need a beer... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/beerchug.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/beer.gif

Damn i could have used the good half of that motor and would have payed for it.....sum people have more money than brains...

Eric Happy Meal 12-11-2003 05:40 PM

i thought there was something wrong with the engine and it was in such bad shape that it couldnt be rebuilded. how long would it have liasted with two rotors? would it have kicked out twice as fast because it would be generating twice as much heat?

A testament to the rotary application in aviation.

Oooo, that's nice. Does it have a pressurized cabin? Is it a kit or a ready-made?

88IntegraLS 12-12-2003 04:13 PM

It was a kitplane with pressurized cabin, full ifr instruments, and it was so good that they had to start making certified factory built versions of it called the Comumbia 500. I love composites. Maybe I should go bother them after I get a degree.
