hey its difficult!
(i got it figured out though, it tastes decent i guess, definately lacking) |
Well, I have one tip: Turn the slices outward!
You see, most toaster ovens toast from the outside MORE than the inside...so facing your slices towards each other usually toasts the "back" of each slice. But, once you have them toasted, you want more crispyness on the frontal, spreadable side where Peanut Butter, Jam, or butter will lay....so You want that part extra hot and crispy so the butter melts like...butter...on the toasted slices. Alas, I say, Turn those slices outward! *Oh and never leave the toaster on anything past "Light", no matter what toaster it is, or what brand, anything past the lowest setting burns everything...what in the hell?>!?!* |

heres the trick: DONT USE THE TOASTER. put butter on them and put them in the oven on broil. keep an eye on them until they are toasty, the mix of butter and sourdough is the best!
