I don't get this one https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.gif

Several mornings I can't help it (wake up too late to eat breakfast before I go) and have to go to DD and get a Medium Hot Chocolate & a Sesame Bagel, Toasted with butter.

I've done this a lot, and almost EVERY time I get a NEW total (I pay attention to small stuff, you forgot I had OCD?)

Check out some totals for the SAME order, accross only 3 different DD's all within 20 minutes of each other

$3.63

$2.89

$3.36

$3.01

$3.11

$3.04

From $2.89-3.63....Methinks the cocoa bean barrel is fluctuating like Oil prices.

or its the greedy bastards who run the stores, dennies around here is the same way. order the same meal at 3 differnt resturants and get 3 differnt prices but yet the same shitty service.

What is it with Dunkin Donuts anyway? When I was on the East Coast on a business trip, there was a line out the damn door at the nearby DD! Why do people love their stale donuts and watered down coffee sooo much? I don't get it!!!

Nothing like fried dough covered in a glaze of sugar for a healthy breakfast!

Sorry, I'm trying to diet and it's early and I'm reading this and now you've made me WANT a donut!

canada is different.. it changes usually every 18 months

i remember when a large coffee was 1.25 (canadian), then it was 1.29. then it was 1.35 (and people were getting pissed).

anyways its 1.39 now.

but hortons here is a governing body to blue collars in canada, so maybe thats why it's a little bit more organized.

No clue, dunkin is ******* ****, cant believe anyone would eat or drink anything from that crap box.

Anyhow, the reason for the prices is that they are all franchises, so the owner sets the prices (within limits)

TYSON 02-18-2007 09:20 PM

Mortgage and property tax would change in different locations, I guess that would make their expenses different.

I hate the ******* one next to my work. They can not understand anything you say.

My dream in life is to open a Kryspy Kream right next to them hire nothing

but hot chics and put them out of business

TYSON 02-18-2007 10:11 PM

The Krispy Kreme here was open for two years and closed. Almost felt sorry for them.

I precidt the next change will be $1.45. That used to be a extra large, or a crapachino.

Agreed.

Funny thing is, we had a Krispy Kreme open here locally (only one around, DD dominates in the NE) and it only lasted 2 years as well.

I'm not a big fan of DD, just like their Hot Chocolate and now and again I get a bagel.

Their donuts are nothing compared to the moist, glazed ones from KK, but I can feel my arteries getting clogged as I eat them....almost literally.

Baldy 02-19-2007 11:22 AM

Man, when that "hot now" sign lights up, and I can smell when you drive by, my hands almost instinctively turn the wheel to guide across 3 lanes of traffic, to ram into the building, fly through the windsheild, and land face up beneath the glaze waterfall.

TYSON 02-19-2007 04:54 PM

Tim Hortons is taking over the USA now, you might as well get used to it. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.gif

teknics 02-19-2007 05:22 PM

bleh i hate krispy kreme.

i only get donuts from real bakeries, and only time i go to DD is for hot chocolate.

kevin.
