I'm in a class where I get A's on tests without studying. I could easily get an A in the class. At the end of the semester (now) our big project is due. Here's the difference: The overachiever would do the best on the project, knowing he'll get an A in the class, and boost his GPA. I, on the other hand, know I'll pass the class by not doing the project and making good test grades. I'm smart enough to do things at the last second and get good grades, but just choose not to.



Difference between slacker and procrastinator: Procrastinator waits till the last second, then does the work. Slacker waits till the last second, then decides to take the day off.

I'm falling into a pattern of doing just what I have to to get by at school...too many bs assignments.

intro to business...the project was picking stocks and monitoring them over a six week period, and doing some write up...I was gonna do it last night but lost the instructions, then figured screw it.

I've always done that...if it works, then you have no incentive not to do it...bad cycle

Yeah...but it'd be a whole lot easier to get a good job after school with A's rather than C's. Good thing I have work experience.

Actually, it was family...the last favor my uncle did for me. I did everything honestly....I said I had zero database experience. My boss asked if I could learn it, I said yes, and the rest is history.

Yeah, that's what I said...I mean, most people don't know how to do a job before they get it...it's whether or not you can learn the job, so I said I can do whatever you can teach me.
