and when i wkoe up this morning my coolant system had committed suicide.

D&D has claimed 3 victims.

stay tuned for more info when frestyle and mazdamike get online.

it no longer holds coolant a whole bunch of ****, basically im gonna replace everything in the coolant system.

it also looks like the fluidyne radiator is leaking from one of the tanks.

i drove mikes car and it was SCARY did a 60MPH drift a little bit. very fun. sorry to hear about all the problems!!!!!

my 240 made it home fine. you guys shoulda followed me. did mazdamike tow his car all the way home to long island ? was that the problem instead of a blown shock like it looked like and yeah your car had a small coolant leak in the parking lot...

i havent been fully filled in. i know mike and mike are both in LI and id imagine both cars were towed there, not positive though.

my car's been leaking coolant and i only just finally figured out where exactly but now it simply wont hold coolant.

mike's low wheel problem must have had smoething to do with it, because his caliper was at the rear of the rotor and i believe fd's are supposed to have calipers at the front of the rotor not the rear, so something was broken or backwards or something.

yea well mike's going to need a new wheel id suspect and smoe bodywork on his bumper, and i'd imagine some part of the front suspension is bent or broken. i dont think anything to bad is messed up tho.

as for mazdamike there's limitless number of things in the front suspension that could be shot i wish frestyle knew how to explain **** on the phone but he sucks.

rearward? ok then they were on the front of the rotor.

i hoenstly havent got a clue, all i know is mike said the caliper like brok and was on the wrong side or something and the wheel got fucked up and it didnt move, or something to that extent.

kevin.

turbovr6 01-24-2004 04:46 PM

i was there waiting with mike and mike for the tow truck for mazdamike's fd..... his caliper completely detatched from teh control arm. it was actually stuck to the rotor for some reason .... and it was hanigng in front side of the wheel instead of the rear side.

we're not sure what happen to it.

well somehow the bolts sheared off, or who ever did brakes on the car last did'nt tighten the bols correctly and they vibrated loose

defprun 01-24-2004 05:05 PM

Never winter driving the 7, ever. There will always be a time of year where the car needs to take a long nap for a good period of time for an overhaul.

The diesel is for plowing into snowbanks.

The 7 is for safely cruising down dry country sideroads.

Or I'd rather not drive my car in 3-10 inches worth of oxydising salt and mud they spread on the road during the winter.

dave.

ColinRX7 01-24-2004 06:03 PM

No, this is Canada, remember?

When it snows then we get at least 3 feet, automatically. Cause it's Canada.

My RX7 just isn't tall enough for snow.
