Ok im tired i just finished a front brake job on a damn 4wd dodge. Did ball joints and everything at same time, was about to just snap off. the hubs were stuck, got that apart someone had used all wrong internals before so that was a mess. Anyway yeah i think i like working on the vert a lot more now, a new apriciation of the simplicity of everything.

Something about Dodge trucks and ball joints. A friend had a new Dakota and it needed a new front end by 20k miles. I think they've had a recall or two about it.

Yeah, and now that im done with it a new problem arises on the brakes.. It pulls to the left. Just so happens that the left side did wear all the way thru rotor and the pass side still had 1/4 pad left. So now im thinking theres a problem in the brake lines somewhere. Unless i can find the rubber hoses are collapsing inside ill probably have to remake the hard line. The truck has seen its share of offroading...

caliper?

shouldnt be the caliper, i figured with this being a dodge theyd be seized anyway so i put new ones on.

I drove it around a little yesterday found a problem no one told me about(this truck is fucked up cause they dont fix anything they just "live with it"). Go over quarter throttle truck starts bucking and popping. Now i may be wrong but in my exp if your not getting enough fuel just feels like your stuck and rpms wont climb. This isnt like that so im wanting to say ignition. I can see it has newer wires so probably spark plugs to. Problem may be in distributor then? Ill look at plugs later and see how they are.. This is a nightmare that never ends!
