So I went to BJ's wholesale club today and spent $200 on toilet paper and paper towels. As I was sitting eating a slice of pizza with my 3-year old son, I observed that almost everyone that walked past was overweight! Some were ugly, and some were hugely overweight.

Why should I have to put up with this? Can't I see attractive young ladies during my lunch? WTF?

1988RedT2 10-15-2008 12:35 PM

Check this out. I used to think I was damn skinny at 6' tall and 175 lbs. Turns out I'm on the high side of normal weight for my height.

Seppuku 10-15-2008 01:47 PM

sweet im normal. Probably the last time something will ever tell me that.

G2G 10-15-2008 02:19 PM

Eh, that's not necessarilly accurate. It doesn't take into account muscle mass vs fat. A better indicater is percentage fat.

Same boat over here man! 5'10", except almost 150 lbs due to sledgehammer swinging regularly.

Defprun remembers a day more than 5 years ago when I was about 5'6 and 180 lbs though!

Baldy 10-16-2008 03:47 PM

Next time eat lunch by a college campus, that way you can see the attractive young ladies before they turn fat.

sen2two 10-16-2008 07:17 PM

30.9! ha!!! obese!!!

im 5'9" and weigh usually between 205-210. but yeah, it does not count muscle Vs. fat. i havnt worked out in a few months. but about a year ago i maxed out my bench at 375 and had maybe 8-9% body fat. and i weighed 215 at the time. obese my ass!

sen2two 10-16-2008 07:18 PM

defprun 10-20-2008 07:23 PM

That would mean you'd have another injury in 5 years!

G2G 10-21-2008 04:39 PM

Well you are doing better than I am. Sitting around in an office or class all day doesn't help me, but then again working on my feet for twelve hours four days a week probably offsets that.
