Went and got the radiator for my Mustang from work today. So i get it up on the lift and drain the stock radiator out. No big deal. So i pull the top hose off, all good. Well i forgot that there would still be fluid in the block, so when i pulled the lower hose it got me off guard.



So i got totally covered in hot ass coolant. Ironic. So now im a lil annoyed at myself, and ford just because, and i keep pulling the thing.



Well its been a few hours and i cant get the coolant lines to break loose. Theres a fitting on the line that screws into a metal union that is the pice going into the radiator itsself. Well the union will come out, but the fitting wont release from the union (the actual line fitting) which means i cant get it out.



Worst part is i have to put it back together in the morn so i can get to work, damn ford.

yea. I tried a torch even, oil, wd40, pbblaster....my dad said he can get them when were both off monday or sunday if i work in the morning, but that i need to get metric line wrenches.

line wrenches are almost a must for fittiings. If you know anyone with a double-flaring tool you can cut the lines right behind the fitting and flare it again...after sliding on new fittings of course.

Well my dad told me to grab two compression fittings while im at work tomorrow in case he has to cut it. I dont care long as it works, i bought an all aluminum radiator for it dammit, i wanna use it : )

So i go out today, and i get it back together. Coolness, so i fill it up with antifreeze (my dad said a whole bottole wouldnt fill it to dump it all in and top with water, well it barely took any water at all.). So anyway, i start backing it off the lift, and im watching behind me so i dont hit the trailer and somehow i managed to rub about 4 inches of my front right bumper on the one lift leg and broke my one light cover up front.



I swear if its not one thing its another ******* thing. And its my fault, ******* ford.
