600 for a month, your right on track to remain below poverty level for the year! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

thats like 2 or 3 insurance payments!

Hey, way to be positive. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

That's great, Eric. Keep it up. When the people you sold knives to show them to your friends, you should get some referral business.

Damn dude you're fricken rich! LOL

Maybe you should consider getting another job to suppliment this one

$600 a month wont get you much

if you got another job making just $6 a hour in a 40 hour week you would gross $240

take away taxes and you would come home with alot more money and you wont have to harass people to buy overpriced knives

by the way- are you going to be getting a 1099 form at the end of the year for taxes or do they subtract it from your pay?

You better save up some money to cover your taxes, if you had a real job you would look forward to a nice tax return at the end of the year.

Even as a full time student working part time, if I sold knives, I'd take a pay "cut".

working a 8 hours a day while still in high school would probably one of the worst things for me to do. that would be 160 hours a month to make close to a thousand, whereas with this month i worked for MAYBE 20-30 hours to make 600, and now im making 20% (almost 25%) commision as opposed to the 10% i started at. (i could have done more hours but im lazy)

the knives are expensive, but your also paying for quality, the gurantee (warranty) on them lasts longer than youll be alive, which covers ANY problems you have, and also resharpening, so its a one time investment that lasts your entire life. (how much money do you spend on washers, dryers, tv's, refrigerators, and how long do you plan on having them??) ive also been on about 15 or so presentations, and there has only been 3 times i think where someone hasnt bought.

and yeah i already know about the 1099 ill have to fill out, but its not like its money that i wouldnt have had to spend anyways.
