Ok so this story starts with an ending, well sort of. The granite is in.

That said, they showed up about 6 hours after they said they would, start tossing the granite in, none of the edges are polished very well, there's no backsplash so I ask about that, "oh there's no backsplash on this order". HA HA, bullshit says 4 inch right on this ******* workorder. "oh, oh ok i'll call them".

4 hours goes by, tops are in and they say they are almost done, they are ******* around in one corner, another 2 hours goes by, still ******* around in the corner. They say ok, pack up their **** and leave. I get to looking and they ******* chipped the corner, about a 1 inch long chip and glued the cocksucker back in and sanded on it.... not only does the chip look like **** but the unpolished area around it looks just as bad.

Other then that they look good, but chips and headaches included not near a $3500 job.

Oh yea, so one of the guatamalens asks my dad if he can have a red bull and he says ok, THEY TOOK 7 of them, two dudes drank 7 redbulls. First off it's pretty rude to ask if you can drink something that expensive when you are working in their home, but wutever, 7 is way over the limit. They stole our ******* broom and the worst damn part is I can't properly mount the sink because they lost the mounting clips, when I asked the dude about it he just says he didn't see any clips.

For wutever reason, they took my sink when they measure the granite, i assumed it would be installed when they got here, they cut the ******* hole in our kitchen and got dust all over, looks like a sand storm blew through here. They also managed to cut the hole a little too big, so the sink BARELY covers the hole.

i helped a neighbor remodel his kitchen. they decided to go with a 8 ft or so island and of course marble tops. the island section was one whole 500lb slab. took us a while to get it in the house and very thankful we didn't chip or shatter it.... good times, and you should have poisoned the rebull.

KingFD 12-01-2005 10:13 PM

Thats bullshit. So whats the plan now?

Il RX8 lI 12-01-2005 10:30 PM

Rifle, box of shells, rest of the Red Bull. Plan complete.

sidewinderx7 12-01-2005 10:37 PM

damn homie, you need to start getting firm with those guys. I'd call the company/contractor/whoever was responsible for it and tell them you want it redone correctly. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Yea well on a side note my captains license that I spent thousands of dollars and hours of studying for was declined by the coast guard because of my high blood pressure.

So I'm about ready to run through traffic and hope a big bus comes along.

sidewinderx7 12-01-2005 11:38 PM

You got denied because of high blood pressure? Whats the max pressure? you need to take like 4 aspirin, then get your blood pressure tests. That will work! also what kind of captains license (weight)?

100 ton... I was denied because I take medication for hypertension, I passed the physical, my blood pressure is fine, but i was a ******* retard and was honest and wrote down all the meds I take.

rowtareh 12-01-2005 11:54 PM

knowing your luck phins, you won't get hit by traffic. how can so much **** happen to one person?

i still don't understand why you did not get your license? what does high blood pressure have to do with it?

sidewinderx7 12-01-2005 11:57 PM

lol... lie damn it! always lie!

and 100 ton... why you need a 100 ton?? lol

Ive been thinking about going through all the training to get my certs and licenses since I've had so much sea time in the past 3 years. But I'm still not a big fan of boats... I hate them but I love them at the same time. lol... I am however going to learn how to sail this summer. Thats something I really want to learn how to do.

*just realized the thread got hijacked*

When youre operating things like 100 ton vessels or even airplanes, you must take a physical. They have to ensure that you are 100% capable of running the said vehicle.

if your blood pressure is high that means you are more likely to have a stroke while at the controls. I'm not sure in scotts case, but thats a quick, in a nutshell reason.

"hypertension" is apparently a reason for elimination, if I had of just lied and not put the meds nothing would have ever been said. The only answer I can possibly come up with as to why i am always on the short of the stick is ME, I am the only constant in the equation, I dunno if I somehow sabotage myself or what, i swear I remember thinking as I filled that box in "Should I put them in here, yea you don't want to lie" I paid $35 to have my documents reviewed, no one said a god damn word.

Honestly i don't think I've ever felt this defeated, I feel like I've been pushing a 2 ton anvil off me for the past 2 years and it finally succeeded in crushing me, but don't worry I'll some how manage to wriggle myself a little lower on the **** you ladder.

I passed the physical, it was signed off, my blood pressure was 120/70, well below the acceptable range, HOWEVER it was under the control of medication, which i stupidly admitted.

I do have high blood pressure, sort of. I have one kidney and it had a disease at one point which damaged it to some bit, because of that i take lotensin and lipitor, the reason I take those is not really because of high blood pressure, but because those meds tend to pass proteins by the kidney without requiring it to filter them, creating less stress on the kidney. But I don't know that that tidbit would be any more in my favor.

cant you appeal it? I've known a few captains that have had to appeal...

Yea, well that's kind of where i'm at, I need to decide if I am just beating a dead horse and realistically beating my self up by filing more documents or if there's a chance i can make it happen. I need to decide if I should figure out wut plan b was and where it takes me or should I start doing drugs in order to keep me from jumping in front of a bus?

I dunno, i feel like it must be me that compounds my problems and I am at a crossroads where I could easily be making things that much harder on myself. Do i call and ask if taking blood pressure medication because I only have one kidney is going to eliminate me. Maybe i am being descriminated because I have a birth defect... ha yea right. **** me

phinsup 12-02-2005 12:17 AM

Option 3, curl up in the fetal position and hope that reincarnation is real.

phinsup 12-02-2005 12:24 AM

u know, wut the **** am i talking about, if I had lied i would have inevitably gotten the 5 years imprisonment, so i take that back. I've got an innerconscience that eats at me if I lie anyhow.

phinsup 12-02-2005 12:25 AM

yup havin a convo with myself, i've ******* lost it.

dumbass.

rowtareh 12-02-2005 12:55 AM

lmao!! we all lose it every now and then. well, at least you told the truth. that always counts. and thanks for explanation travis, never thought of it that way.

sidewinderx7 12-02-2005 12:57 AM

there are always options to get what you want. And im sure if you appeal and explain the situation, they will grant you the license. Its worth a shot. If you dont try, you'll never know...

banzaitoyota 12-02-2005 05:47 AM
