If someone has done a automatic to manual transmission swap , the crossmember is closer to the axle. How can u go about putting on the transmisson mounts that are closer to the engine ? Is the chassis/frame of the car heat treated? Wanting to weld the transmission mounts onto it. Was told if it is heat treated and i welded them, it could crack the frame/chassis. Is there anything else i should know about?? thanks

You could use some angle iron to make it work. That's how I suually see it done.
