Considering this FC, anyone care to give insight?

Looking to pick up this 87 Turbo II, was curious if some of you much more experienced and knowledgeable members could take a look at the ad and see if you noticed anything that sticks out as good/bad, or what it's worth?

fs/ft 87 Rx7 Turbo II

I went to look at it and went for a ride. The body looks straight except for the fender damage you can see, and the paint on the hood is pretty much shot, no way it could be buffed back to a shine. The interior looks good except for the seats that don't match the interior.

He did a compression test for me before I thought I was going to be able to go look at it, but ended up being able to go an hour or so after. He said it showed 101 on both cylinders but I asked him about it later and he didn't remove the valve in the tester, or hold the pressure relief switch in to make sure all 3 parts of the rotor showed equal compression. He said he had done it that way before and the #s were the same, but if I go to purchase I'm going to help and I'm going to hold the switch in to see if all 3 phases are the same.

As far as it running, it started right up and sounded good, no odd noises or anything. After it warmed up a little during the drive he got on it and it absolutely pulled like a raped ape. I was actually very surprised that a stock turbo with stock fuel system and all that pulled like that on an 80s turbo car. It screamed up to about 100 in no time on this little back road we were on.

Looks fair for its age but going by what has been done to car I would say has had a hard life .Will most likely need a fair bit of work to bring back to a nice car but if cheep price may be worth the effort
