Can anyone tell me how to get my compression tester working on a rotary?? What do i have to do to the motor and to the tester to get it to test compression on the back rotor and on all 3 faces. Any help on these matters would be helpful

Pull igniter plug.
pull 1 plug from each rotor. remove the shrader valve from a normal piston compression gauge watch the pulses while car is cranked. they should all 3 be equal. this is a ghetto way but is way cheaper then buying a rotary compression gauge. |
hey i like the ghetto way vs the super expensive ass way... how can i take the shrader valve off without busting it??
You unscrew it with a valve stem remover. It is a little tool you can buy at an auto parts store.

would holding in the relief valve not work as well??
or a small pocket screw driver to remove the valve
which part do i take off??? there is the little relief valve part and then the shaft it attaches to
unscrew the hose from the bottom of the gauge. There should be a little valve stem looking thing on the bottom of the gauge itself.
i ****** suck.... im too weak to get the hose off

Sorry...Thats a long drive for me to come help you out.
