pretty cool design and advantages it gives the engines, i guess it all comes back to the rotary? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png what do you guys think? |
rotary owns you all
it lists all of the advantages (lubrication, friction, heat) over the normal head compared to the spherical rotary valve head. just think of possibilities if r&d like this was developed for our rotaries...
Thats sweet, I didnt read it all but did they say if they were gonna produce it at all for any cars or anything?
It's been a long time coming. I saw one of the prototypes on a show called Beyond Tomorrow back in '90 or so (not Beyond 2000 as you all may have seen on the Discovery channel a bit more recently). At least this company isn't dragging its ass like Moller has. Heh, nice thing to say huh?
apparently the guy who is developing this used to work for gm. hopefully they don't pay him off or pull some legal bullshit.
They tested it on a little formula 1 type car with a megaphone as its exhaust. It sounded cool.
Yeah, GM is a huge faceless corporation. They've lost touch with their buyers. |
