you people have clearly never been down here. while there are plenty of rednecks, youll find about the same concentration of them outside of your cities in the north. they dont wear cowboy hats, but theyre the same brand of dumbass. as for the rest of it all, you people should visit austin some time. easily one of the most badass cities in the us.

I have to admit that there are an aweful lot of cowboy hats in that picture. I don't think I've ever owned a cowboy hat... and the only time I had a pair of cowboy boots was when I was about 8 years old. Most big cities in Texas will use any reason to have a festival/party... food, music, birthdays...etc. I wish they would bring the Austin Aquafest back. They used to have drag boat racing on the river running through the middle of town.
