I'm working today (Sat) setting up our trucks for emissions testing
Nothing really interesting except our oldest truck 1974 Kenworth "849" Model, which is this big oldschool truck that looks like a train, tires are 5' tall, etc Original.. like.. 15L or something huge cummins engine I dunno if it's gonna pass! |
1974? Why does it have to pass?
|
If it's a truck, and is permitted to run down the kings highways, it has to pass an emissions test, no matter what the year
|
It passed whoopety doo
Idle was hunting between 500 and 900, it almost failed |
I want to drive one! Then take it drifting.
|
strap a few jet engines on the back and make it a drag racer.

one of these badboys right here
from the ground to where you climb up on top to get inside the cab is 6 feet off the ground in total (cause ours has even bigger tires) only ours has only one steer axle, two drives, shorter split http://www.vandemarkventures.com/Carson80KWBed.jpg |
