well yesterday I had to go over to pensacola to help my aunt lay sod. Me and my grandmother were taking a tiller over so we had to take my grandpas ford f150 4x4, a 98 model I think

anyway. we got about 2 miles into florida (coming from Mississippi on I-10) when the tread completely seperated on the back passenger tire. I scared the **** out of me. it threw the back of the truck into the left lane and I had to countersteer like a mofo to keep on the road. I finally got under control and got off the side of the road. the tire held all of its air, but there was no tread at all. these tires are not old at all. the tread completely seperated from the tire all the way down to the steel belts. it ripped about a 3'x2' section of the bed wall off of the truck on the back and smashed the tailpipe all the way down to the pavement (the exaust comes out in front of the rear wheel)

it sucked the only reason that i reacted the way I did is because of my experience in drifting. that taught me haw to countersteer and to control a vehicle with no rear traction. we were lucky not to roll or worse. just for those that don't know this is the same thing that happened to all kof those firestones on the ford explorers a couple years ago.

What kind of BFGoodrich tires were they? I have some Comp TA BFG tires on my FC and they are pretty good . . about the same as the Potenzas I had before them.
