I sure hope this makes it past the moderator que

Here it is the off topic, non-rx7, useless, crap ass post for wednesday night. (Please give any feedback that wasn't included)

Tell me what your favorite beer is if you pick an other category... I prefer Redhook, but I live and work a mile from the brewery so that's what I stock my kegerator with, maybe I am just partial.

isamu 11-15-2001 12:59 AM

Redhook is by far the best. I love their seasonals also, especially the winterhook which is out right now! The nut brown ale is also delicious, and is kind of new I think. I would say the worst beer I have ever had is a toss up between Lowenbrau and Icehouse. I think Lowenbrau is worse.

phinsup 11-15-2001 01:15 AM

I was at the brewery the day they came out with the Winterhook, this years is the best ever, incredible i do agree. Had to suck down my keg of blonde to get the Winterhook in it, but it was worth it! They are keeping blonde year round, but only in kegs and on tap!

college=keystone...9.99 for a 30 pack

you cant drink good **** or everone sponges off you..a case of yuengling will dissapear faster than a freshmen girls viginity@ a party

JaySpec7 11-15-2001 01:33 AM

i actually like Corona.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

phinsup 11-15-2001 08:59 AM

Being a Parrothead and have spent a good part of my post high-school years in Mexico I can respect the desire for Corona! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

RX-Midget 11-15-2001 10:35 AM

Favorite beer in college was Olympia (1.99/6pk) only because it was cheap ("it's the water", or so it says on the can;) )

Now that I can afford real beer, I like Yuengling Black & Tan. If I want a lighter beer, I like Boddingtons (SP? from England). https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Rx7Roadster 11-15-2001 03:59 PM

Yeulinling (sp?) Lager is good. I also like Rolling Rock and Corona. Being at college I dont get to drink those that often though. We usually have Natty Light...its like drinking piss. Oh well I do get good stuff sometimes.

treceb 11-15-2001 04:38 PM

My new favorite is Black & Tan. But Ive only had it once. I also like Asahi, Sapporo, Corona, Coors Light, Strawberry Blonde, Quilmes, Grolsch...

Unless Im in the mood for a specific beer, I usually try something new every trip I take to the liquor store.

ThirdGenRX7 11-16-2001 01:25 AM

would beer work as antifreeze?

phinsup 11-16-2001 09:06 AM

No you have to use hard alcholol for anti-freeze.

phinsup 11-16-2001 09:07 AM

We need to add more beers to the poll.

7sins 11-21-2001 06:56 PM

I always thought Icehouse was a good cheap beer. Cleanses my palette between the hard stuff.

bringing it back!!! im a heineken fan and yuengling gives you a happy buzz

rx7_re 06-20-2008 11:08 AM

Cheap night is a "dirty 30" of the high life, often referred to as the low life. Good beer night is Goose Island 312, They make a whole bunch of seasonal beer as well so anytime of the year they have something good out.

jwteknix 06-20-2008 03:25 PM

TheRX7Project 06-20-2008 05:45 PM

75 Repu 06-20-2008 09:12 PM

newcastle! i too try getting something i have not tried for each trip! and yes this is a ****** relic of a thread

defprun 06-21-2008 08:50 AM

Stop complaining about gas prices! Beer is cheap for you guys!!!

It's like...1.99 for one coors light tall boy...

rx7_re 06-22-2008 12:05 AM

I've found myself drinking some floaters from time to time, its a lot easier though if I know who was drinking it. By the way Newcastle is the ****. Just tried it a few months back and I love it.

G2G 06-22-2008 04:59 PM

Guinness, Murphy's, Beamish, Old Chub, Rogue Brutal Bitter, Flying dog Double dog, Eclipse Stout, Mud Dog black and tan (it's a pilsner and stout!), Rigley Stout (a friend's own brewed beer), Hunter Gather's bitter and porter. All very good beers. I have an affection for dark beers.
