Well they ain't gonna give me insurance, sometimes I wonder about a country that banks on quality of life when we don't give everyone the opportunity to be alive, ie access to healthcare, but that aside, I have found a way to beat them at their own game, if you are an employer and offer group plans, they cannot pre-screen the employees, they have to take them as they come.... so time to turn my sole proprietership into a corporation, I've done it before, pretty easy just gotta buy the forms from Office Depot and send them a check and yer in business.

A little more work, but the satisfaction of beating the insurance company at their own game will be worth it.

Phinsup Corporation Incorporated https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

phinsup 06-17-2003 11:22 PM

I will prolly use OnPro Media, Inc. that will pretty much cover everything, I can just roll all my other business names, Providesite Unified Web Solutions, Nopistons.com, Nopistons.com Store under the corporate veil.

thks phins

phinsup 06-17-2003 11:49 PM

No you actually have to pay more for group insurance, but the benefits are much better.

phinsup 06-17-2003 11:51 PM

OnPro is already something I've had in the works, it doesn't have anything to do with Nopistons other then the fact that nopistons would be part of the "network". I just haven't mentioned it much cause it isn't really something that most people would be interested in hearing about LOL

does it involve stickers?

oh speaking of which, phins what is the biggest outline sticker you can make? i'd be willing to put it anywhere big to get the sit esome random attention.

such as on the tappanzee bridge (tons of attention when a guy tried jumping today, perhaps a nopistons sticker would draw such attention? lol)

Tell me about OnPro Media please!!!

phinsup 06-18-2003 12:06 AM

The longest width you could have right now is 11 yards, that is the largest roll of vinyl I have and all of the vinyl i have right now is 8 " high, so 11 yards by 8 inches.

LOL no OnPro doesn't have anything to do with stickers, it's an idea I've had rattling around for a bit.

so it would be 8inches high and 33 feet long (33x12 = 396) or

396"x8"?

making me a series 1 sticker like that would cost me how much?

i'd go slap it somewhere real good, like the front window of CBS news station in NYC or something.

oh oh on the floor of times square! or on the wall of building in times square...tons of exposure! and definitely would get on the news "the funny dorito spinning engines seem to have stepped up the means of advertising" lol.

BigTurbo74 06-18-2003 02:17 AM

damn phins, expanding the biz. are you taking on partners? how much for a share? put me down for 500...

phinsup 06-18-2003 02:27 AM

LOL, yea well it has some tax advantages, I had a corporation a few years back, but didn't keep up the filings, I have been knocking around the idea some, but with this insurance nightmare it looks like I have no choice.

Turbo II 06-18-2003 12:28 PM

was i the only one "lucky" enough to know about onpro?

phinsup 06-18-2003 04:38 PM

Yes, yes very good.

Hmm, so if I transfer my kegerator to the corporation, and buy the kegs with corporate funds, then sell shares of stock technically with each share of stock you would own something like .2 ounces of beer.

Now I don't see how you could go wrong.

Turbo II 06-18-2003 04:40 PM

put em down for a full keg. just put it on the tab
