They look like they have been burning rather rich.

Change them.

Check the air filter.

How do you know that? The conductors look fine to me. I am not trying to be a smart ass...I really want to know. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

j9fd3s 01-30-2003 06:18 PM

mike

phinsup 01-30-2003 06:18 PM

How long has it been sitting?

Rob x-7 01-30-2003 07:56 PM

plugs might be original, change them and dont worry about it.

When it stops running, worry about it. Do a full tune up while you are

there.

Rob x-7 01-30-2003 07:58 PM

were all the plugs the same type of AC plug? either the plug number is

like 5 numbers long, or that one thats darker is a different number alltogether

Maybe its the wrong heat range.

Get a fresh battery. Some cars will just not run with a weak battery. Jumping it isn't enough. You need full voltage to the brain box and the fuel system.

Rob x-7 01-30-2003 08:10 PM

if it started and died I would say you have a fuel problem, try some starter fluid

just to see if that gets it going. Put some gas anti-feeze in the tank as well.

Because they look all wet, black, and oily.

They should be nice and dry and tan.

Don't forget to check the air filter.

Did you get her running.

Yes, you may have got some water in your fuel.
