In order to turn higher than 9K the waterbrake has to be reclearanced and balanced at the factory. again its a matter of tradeoffs: Higher RPM capability = less time between rebuilds
The majority of the work is done below 9K, so while not the ideal solution, its better than nothing |
If you really needed to you could hook up a reduction gearbox anyway.

SDJ is no longer a shop. Stan is still a mentor/technical consultant and still builds a few engines for existing customers
