Homemade wine can usually be pretty good. My brother's father in law made 400 bottles for my brothers wedding, I think maybe 12 were left over.
Picture a bunch of 50 year old farmers standing around commenting on how the like the strawberry wine over the peach. Almost all of those guys would have never had wine before in their lives! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I've seen some pretty screwed up homemade beer though. No idea what they did wrong. |

Go for it mate, You cant beat good homebrewed beer.
Forget the bottles though & get some kegs https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png Down here in Australia some of us tightass brewers have been bringing in kegs from USA. You get them dirt cheap compared to us here https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png Check out http://www.aussiehomebrewer.com/forum |
true. bottles are no fun, but they are cheap. Keep everything clean (very clean). wash everything in a mild bleach solution. ie 1 tbs bleach per 5 gal of water. Sainless steel and glass is really easy to clean, by boiling. if you want I'll post a killian's clone that's pritty good and really easy to do, I just have to find it.
