We did a RX-7 BBQ in South Florida last June and it was a success. We had over 30 RX-7's and even Cam showed up with his Banzai.



I am wondering if there will be any interest in putting on another BBQ.



I will look into some really neat venues. One I have in mind is to rent out the local SCCA Autocross equipment and put on a RX-7 BBQ Autocross day.



I would like to get my hands on a local 1/4 mile strip but they are usually booked up on weekends.



If anyone can look into theit local Florida Strip I will be willing to front the cash for a deposite to get us in.



I will find out about the Autocross for sure next weekend.



Chime in with suggestions. I really want to do one where we can drive our cars not just look at them.



I am not sure if I am going to do this yet but if there seems to be a lot of interest I will start working on it.

I will consider Orlando but last year there were tons of people from South Florida that came. So I will probably keep it in the West Palm Beach area.

Its a Saturday and it will be a Pettit Racings Facility. Big Parking lot and a DYNO!



Cameron has be gracious to offer his facility to us. You can do pulls while you are there. He will do Horsepower pulls for $35 and full diagnostic pulls for $50. If you want to tweek your car while its on there you can but it might be more depending on how long you tie up the rollers for.



Cameron suggested all the Horsepower only guys go 1st then the full diagnostic then the tuners.



There are some very sick cars at this place. Pettits specialty is turning FD's into 3 Rotor Monsters. His Banzai is there as well as the RX-7 Limo and a ton of 3rd gens with 3 rotors.



May 17th!! Mark it down. I would like to do a roll call to see about how many will attend so we can get enough food for everyone.

Yes we are gonna grill again Burgers and dogs.

cam wrecked the banzai. i saw it. it was pretty messy.

As of the moment I am in. I will, hopefully, be bringing a friend.

My motor is finally back together. Now the fun part, putting it back

in and installing the Haltech. Along with finishing the manaul conversion.

I talked to Cam about his Banzai. He blew out a tire and lost control of the car. He has mostly cosmetic damage it looks worse than it is.
