What did you guys think of 25th Hour? A bunch of my friends told me I'd love this movie, so while at Best Buy one day, I decided I'd buy it without even seeing it. Hell, I do that a lot and hadn't regretted it.
Well, I watched it once so far, and was not impressed in the slightest. There's no wondering, no suspense...hell, no thought at all. In typical Spike Lee fashion, you sit there as though you're watching people walk down the sidewalk with little or no concern as to their collective histories or futures. Maybe it was just me, so let me know what you thought of it. |
I saw that with Fairlady7....Neither one of us liked it. Rented it a few days ago. I can't believe I bothered to watch it again. I turned it off half way through which is something i never do!

Damn, I was hoping I'd like it more the second time.

He visualized skipping town and marrying that chick, then they show him with his dad with his face still all bashed up on the Cross Island or some ****.

i liked it personally.
at the end they show him visualizing skipping town but fade back to the jeep, implying that he goes to jail. i pretty much just love that one scene where he looks at the mirror and it says **** you then he goes on and on about every kind of person in the city. |
That scene is cool, especially the end of it. Don't get me wrong, there were plenty of good scenes in a movie...it just didn't have the total package IMO.
