LOL i used to go rc helechopters when a was a kid i saw guys at my club that did stuf like that it worx with a 2 speed gearbox 1 f 1 r they get riped to shreds tho lol they had to replace the sprocets every flight listen closly ul hear sharp grinding as he turns upside down Is that how it works? The blades actually reverse that fast? I'd think it'd make more sense to have the blades be adjustable pitch so you could switch airflow direction like that instead of starting and stopping the blades... |

Hate to break it to you all, but the laws of phyics say 99% of that is all FAKE.
that guy has skillz |
Yeah, I thought helos can't fly upside down... but if they're switching the direction of rotation that fast....
that guy's got madddz skillzz.... |
The blades are changing pitch and RPM. That's what makes those tricks possible. Highly impressive.

Camera work was pretty incredible too!
Some parts looked like they sped it up though. |
Whatever the setup, that dude is sick like a friggin animal with that thing! I've flown RC planes before and that's nerve racking enough. At the club I used to fly at there was a guy with a heli and he had problems getting it off the ground without it flippin out and self destructing. Amazing skillz to do that ****...

The blades do not stop spinning one direction and then spin another.
They simply change pitch. My dad flys RC copters and a few 100cc rc planes with the wingspan as tall as SHAQ himself. |
