FINALLY got rid of the Blazer (they towed it last night), turns out the roll pin on the distributor shaft came out...So now it's gone, my tax $$$ should be here any day, and I'm looking forward to a new car, well i got in the Taurus this afternoon after work, started the car, it made a HORRIBLE noise, i thought it was revving, the guy that helped me pull the blazer out when it got stuck happened to be walking by and he said turn the key to start it again and let go and do it QUICK, turns out the ghey ass starter in the Taurus is sticking, trying to constantly start itself while running, well I got it to stop, AFTER i popped the hood, well I forgot i popped the hood (remember I JUST got off work and was freaking out the Taurus was FUKT), get going down the road and notice the hood is bouncing, dammit, stop open it and slam it shut (engines still running), fucker starts trying to start itself again,,,GRRRRRRRR...after about a minute and a half i get it to stop again....I'm thinking short or loose connection, just makes me mad, cuz i KNOW i'm gonna have to spend some $$ on it and i dun wanna do it, since i am looking at a car and system and putting $$ away for the house when we move end of April,

moral of this stroy is i can write really long paragraphs, and that...

wow never would have guessed that with the blazer, that is not something that EVER happens, so yes you are cursed.

as far as the taurus goes, does the ingition cylinder move easy? if not the lock is cheap and super easy to change yourself. If it is the starter , that too is cheap and easy to change yourself.

As far as reliable goes, I've NEVER driven anything more reliable than that Taurus (it's an 87 with ONE owner before us, an old couple her grandparents knew, only driven on weekends, only 60k miles on it when we bought it in 2003) only thing EVER to go wrong was the water pump went, but since it was OEM, i hardly blame it :P

Don't hate me because I make you look bad. Just work at my company when I get it going, I'll need a lot of engineers. Oh wait . .

I don't hate you at all, you just seem much angrier than before.

Before: I had a house, garage, money, income, 1/2 acre of space to come home to, could work on my FC every day if I wanted to, got respect from my supervisor, the company owner, and peers at work, was really good at the job and always advancing, was making a difference, etc.



Now: No income, going deep into debt, teachers give me some respect for the extra work I do but most are morons with no business sense, I'm surrounded by moronic rich kids who have had most everything given to them in life, I have about 10% the spare time as before, bash my head against collectively steep learning curves for the accelerated pase of my techincal courses, overcome challenges only to have an equal amount reappear, and the biggie, live in a ~300 square feet room with no space to do projects.



Summary: When I expect excellence from myself under the pressing situations in my life and am surrounded by morons, taught, graded, and overseen by morons, living in a box, with neither money nor time, it reduces my aura of pleasentude and happiness. I have taken a huge step downward in living standards. I hope taking this plunge to get a degree will be worthwhile, but it is a risk I am willing to take.
