Hey,

So I tried doing a search for the thread where it was talked about, but couldn't find where someone mentioned something other than ad-aware as far as to get rid of pop-up programs. Ad-aware has solved all my PC's at work and mine at home but not my brother's. Does anyone know of a better one? Someone mentioned it before (And a website?)

As far as nopistons.com search engine....what's up with that? I get the same threads listed 4-5 times and you can't do a search of simply an authors name (unless I missed it) and the way it shows the results is organized yet not...?

Thanks in advance. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

Spybot is the other one everyone uses. as far as pop ups from websites, googlebar works pretty nicely.

I used pop-up stopper Basic (Free) worked alright. but sometimes theres still one that will slip through. and then when you want something to pop up it'll block it every once in a while.

you could always switch to earthlink (I wish I could get paid for saying that)

They let you download a program called Elink Pop-up blocker, works like magic, no popups and if you want to open a pop-up windows, you just tripple click the link.

I would give you a link, but the programs requires a username/pw to use it.

I just use Mozilla, it has a built in option to stop pop-ups.
