Remember I posted I had to help the English guy to get some parts off a transformer dealy?

It was for this job.

My brother drives the tractor trailer, our company operates the outside crane and assists with loading the Jet.

This was in Toronto.

The jet is huge

ColinRX7 04-24-2004 10:35 AM

It has to stop for refuelling as often as it can.

Normally we boat big **** like this around, but NOOOO they wanted to transfer it in the air on an old german war plane or something like that. I dunno that's just the rumor.

Whoa, that truck is huge, nice pics.

ColinRX7 04-24-2004 10:41 AM

Yeah my brother drives these trucks for a living.

For reference, here's the length of the truck with all the bed extensions in.

I have driven it too! But only around the block.. It's not as hard as it seems..

defprun 04-24-2004 10:48 AM

Dude, that plane is russian...and they have planes similar to that, only with 3 engines on each wing...

Russia makes the largest planes in the world, that ones prolly closer to size near a C5 Galaxy, a baby brother to the Gigantic 6 engine Antonov https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

TyresmokinRx7 04-24-2004 10:53 AM

Damm, that thing is huge. How many cars do you think would fit on the back of that truck.

Jims5543 04-24-2004 11:13 AM

Shipping bill on that must be more than my mortgage.

Nice pics.. thanks!!

Eyxom 04-24-2004 06:54 PM

Nice pics! If you think that's big, you should see the planes that the military uses to transport other planes, etc...

Eric Happy Meal 04-24-2004 11:08 PM

ColinRX7 04-25-2004 12:33 AM

Nope, I work for the company that is storing and shipping their equipment.

He had to pay our company to be there to open the gates for him, so I figured it would be quicker for the both of us if I did more than stand there and babysit.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
