hey guys. we just had our first formula sae meeting today, and the brakes guy said they were going to develop a passive abs system. i seem to remember that no abs can stop the car faster if done properly. plus wouldn't the unit weigh quite a bit?
the distance to stop is shorter, but harder to control. I removed the ABS in an FD,added a balancer and linelock. I would say the ABS unit weighs about 10-15 pounds
what do you think we should do then? we are adding a in cockpit bias controller. what is a linelock?
