What do you consider a quick 0-60 time? 5 seconds (stock FD)? 6.5 seconds (stock TII)?
I'm too broke to go to a dragstrip to check my Na's 1/4 mile time. |
anything below 6 is pretty much fast. while 6-6.5 is quick.

It all depends on what you're accustomed to driving. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif In the seventies and early eighties (the dark ages) any normal stock passenger car turning 0-60 in less than 10 seconds was "quick". "Fast" was a term reserved for rides that could do it in under 8 seconds. Now it seems like almost any car truck, or SUV can do 0-60 in less than 8 seconds.
I still consider less than 7 seconds to be pretty darn quick. Less than 5 seconds is definitely fast. |
On my huffy, while riding downhill, with my brother pushing me....I can do 0-60 in 35.55 seconds...
...I know...I'm working on it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |
Under 7 is quick, and under 5 is fast to me. Numbers don't really have a lot of significance, it's when you get behind the wheel that you see how quick a car really is.

No. Under 4 seconds is quick. Most stock sports cars are in the 5 second range. A 13 sec car can do it in high 4's. Under 4 seconds is gettin to be movin. This is typically a car that'll get out with 1.7 sixty foots or better.

I always use "fast" to refer to velocity and "quick" to refer to acceleration, but that's just the physics geek in me.
On topic: I think anything under 6 is quick, but there are some exceptions, like the Buick Regal GS that does 0-16 in 6.6 is still damn quick because it's a family sedan. |
Under 4 is fast, trust me I know
|
under 6 is fast

I need to get a stopwatch. My car does it in the 6-7 range, but I can't count when it's taking off. It makes me get aroused and I count too fast (I think).
