My god I've had this thing a day and I already hate the piece of ****. First off, I have a deck on the boat that controls ipods, however it doesn't control the new ipods, when I called apple they said buy a new deck LOL So I said screw you, I'll buy the old model save $50 bucks and not buy a new deck for it.



Also it has this annoying **** where when you tilt it it goes into "coverflow" ok in coverflow you can't adjust the volume because the ********** has to be tilted up right. Next complaint the power plug and the audio plug are too close you have to buy the special "mini" stereo plug which happens to cost $19.99 for a ******* audio cable from apple. **** it they are going back. Also **** Alltel, had to cancel my internet service through them because their roaming agreement with sprint is all fucked up and even though it shows I am covered on their coverage map, i am not I have been using sprint towers.

 

Also on a side note it takes just a smidge of bitching and apple will take it back without the restocking fee.

 

Does the technology serve us, or are we merely its slaves?

Didn't say I hate apple, actually i was very pleased with their customer service, I just don't like the new Nano. Got me an ipod touch on the way, bought the 1st gen, saved a fortune!! Apple even credited my card the minute fedex shipped it. Oh and I just looked they even credited the damn shipping back!!!

Hate to burst your bubble, but when you tilt the touch on it's side it will display in album mode. However I think it still has volume controls on the side.

You can turn that off, but yes there are separate volume controls. The coverflow thing would be cool IF you could change the damn volume.
