Hey all...anyone got any help for me? I was just typing on AIM last night and the keyboard stopped working. Right now I'm typing on a plug-in keyboard I took from the other computer...I kinda need the keyboard on the laptop to work so I can, ya know, do work on it...If anyone has any suggestions...

Thanks

Leo

ok, here goes..

Step 1: Cuss at it in a real profane manner.. check to see if it works.. if not proceed to step 2

Step 2: smack it upside the screen a few times.. Check to see if it works.. if not proceced to step 3

Step 3: Fling it accross the room.. check to see if it works.. if it does you are one lucky bastard.. and that is one tough notebook.. if not.. replace it uunderwaranty..

What brand is it? Usually there is a removable plastic piece right above the keyboard. Remove it and there will be two screws underneath. Remove those and the keyboard should come off. If not, then look at the bottom of the laptop, the screw would be attaching it from the bottom. Search eBay, you can find replacement keyboards for around $30.
