alright, i am finally fed up with my work. i have been short one sales person since the 4th of july weekend. this sales person was not productive in sales or anything. he averaged about 30-40k in sales a month. but since he has been gone with his injuries his clients have been coming in and ordering stuff that he was working on. lets say about 175k in the 3 months he has been out.
i usually work with 3 older ladies and him. female owner, 66 year old salesperson and a 45 year old assistant. the assistant is for everyone. so as you can tell i have a helper. alright my job description is as follows. accounts receivable, accounts payable, data entry of orders, phones/fax, bank recons, etc. everything that a book keeper would basically do just with the nice pay. now to add on to my duties since july has been salesperson.
so along with my postwhoring all day (which does not set me back at all) i still have a lot of work to do. i have barely been taking a lunch break, let a alone a cigarette break. but **** has hit the roof today. stupid sales person starts bitching cause it takes her 7 days to get her order back, and with in those 7 days her clients are calling changing dimensions/finishes on orders that are still on my desk. with the amount of paperwor that she puts on my desk im amazed i can find anything. so she lets it all out, blah blah blah blah, i need em back with in 2 days.
so my response to that is quit giving me the end of your oders, IE arranging freight, checking on orders. **** that she should be doing since she is making good commision off these orders. me and her went at it right in front of the boss. the salesperson asks me what do u think im god. that she can do all that ****. my response was do u think im god and can process every single request in a timely manner, esp without mistakes. im fed up. im gonna talk to my boss later this week, cause she thinks everything will cool down and get better. but it wont unless she re-hires the old salesperson or hires someone else. everyone here is stressed out. i hate bringing these types of problems home. im gonna stick it out till the end of the year and look for a different job field. i hate this ******* place. shitty pay, im a minority and get treated like one, and lets just saying showing up 5 mins late for work is not that much fun.
