I would like to start a group buy on a custom radiator shield that I am making. This is designed to cover the open space between the nose of the car and the radiator in a front mount intercooler setup. Airflow takes the path of least resistance, and at speed some air will bypass the radiator, diminishing cooling efficiency. The piece will be made of 1/8th or slightly thinner aluminum, and be precisely laser cut. Testing of the prototype, along with my custom ducting to the radiator under the intercooler has shown a 5-10 degree drop in coolant temps. After beating on the car for 25 min on a road course with ambient temps in the high 80's my coolant temps did not exceed 100 degrees C. Price will be $125. This includes all mounting hardware as well as foam to seal it to the radiator. Pics can be seen at my old post http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=124857 I plan on making an initial run of 25 units, but won't make it if there isn't sufficient interest. Let me know what you think.
