As always the members of Nopistons.com never cease to amaze me, in just one day we raised $125.00 for the save the manatees organization, full info in the forum. We are going to make this a "long term effort" and hope to adopt more as the year goes on, we already have enough for 5 manatees.



Our first adoptee is:



HOWIE is a sleek, large (1,350 lbs.) male, known to winter at the park since 1971. One of Howie's favorite activities is to tip the research canoe -- complete with researchers!
