OK I have added a new skin to the forums. Please be nice as I built it from scratch myself. Helpful kind suggestions welcome. IF the colors are a little off let me know.



It is listed as a BETA skin, however not for the same reasons as the VBulletin skin. It is a BETA becuase the colors are not final, however it is fully functional as I built them from the skin files that I had already hacked on for forum features.

only thing I would consider changing and it really isnt a problem just a lil hard to look at is the lighter blue text used for the user names and this part of it "Nopistons.com Rotary Engine Forum ->GENERAL FORUM ->Forum News ->New Skin Available!"

I would just make it a bit darker. But that is my preference and is being pretty ******* picky! But otherwise nice and good job! Thanks for another option!

Yea I played with that, problem is the text is set globally, meaning the text has to be visible on dark and light, I can't have a light text on the background and dark in the column heading. Unless I am missing something, I am still working on that one.

yeah it looks good. i do agree with mr stang that the headings are harder to read, but it looks good. i am going to keep the old one cause i find it easy to read and it looks clean.

Yea the dark skin is not for everyone, this is the first time I have built a skin for IBF from scratch so it is taking some getting used to.

how about naked chic skin?

The skins are kind of a pain in the ass to build so it will prolly be a while before I get the motivation to build another. I will screw around with this one when I get little spurts of motivation. It's been a slow week at work so I here I sat and decided I would try building my own.
