Mark All Posts Read



I try to mark them all read and it does not seem to clear them.

Yea the cookie doesn't work quite right with IE, it is set to mark as read each session. I have been working on it, but not got it nailed down yet.



Works great with Netscape and Mozilla though.

Thanx, I'll quit trying till you tell me it works. Most people use IE.

Yea i seem to have same problem. all the posts i have read appear unread.

No problem here with running IE...

Except for board crashes lol

He got that last one fixed fast though!

I am running windows ME and the latest version of IE so that may be it....

Yea sorry guys, that was **** timing, I had no phone line all weekend because I moved, so board went down and it took me few to find out, got it fixed quickly though!!!

now how about those darn posts saying unread, after i have look at them 50X.

Yea I am working on it, it's a cookie issue and I haven't quite got it figured out, but I am spending some time on it so we'll see what I can do, I will keep you posted.

OK, I believe I may finally have this issue fixed. If you can't use the "Mark All Posts As Read" feature please let me know and also let me know what browser and version you are using.

My mark all posts button isn't working, and i don't know what version im using. And i think my browser is MSN. not too sure im not a computer wizard.

It looks like it's working on my home computer, Win 98 IE 5.0.

It still does not work at my work computer win4.0 ie5.5. Don't feel bad it does not work on my work computer for the rx7forum either. Don't worry about it.

That's odd, I am getting it to go on both Nutscrape 6.2 and IE 6. Wish I could figure out why it works for some and not others of the same version.

I was just going to each section and marking all post as read, and now that isn't even working. I don't know what browser or version I'm using. I'm a computer retard. :frown:

Try it now one of the fields got erased somehow earlier today and I spent my time trying to figure out how it got changed rather than fixing it, it should be fixed, let me know one way or the other.

No worries, it wasn't working for me either, but it is now so you guys should be good. I think the cookie burped, but it's all good.

I messed with the cookie some, it appears to be working with IE now and not Netscape so I will mess with it some more and see what I can do.

yea i got netscape, its still no working....

The cookie seems to be jacked beyond all repair at this point I hope to get a fix together soon, but I am unable to figure out what happened to change it in the first place. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I take that back, when i got into all the forums they were all marked read, i answered some and tried marking them read, and they are telling me there is new posts.

That's odd I have tested it on every browser on multiple systems and not had any issues. Anyone having any issues or is everyone else looking good?
