my temp gauge quit working after i changed my oil, so i figured i knocked it off when i did that. so rather that search around anymore, figured i'd ask someone, where is the sensor at?

Thanks

its over by the oil filter, on the left side.

Daiv Makitsu 01-22-2003 05:44 PM

left side of the oil filter you mean?

cymfc3s 01-22-2003 05:49 PM

It's a small sensor that screws onto the block. It's on the driver side. It's sorta in the vicinity between the oil filter and spark plugs. Also near the oil pressure switch.

I believe it's that little hole right above the rear trailing spark plug.

Sorry voodoo, that's where the knock sensor can screw into, if youwanted to add a second one.

But it is to the right of that, on the iron housing, the oil pressure sensor is blocking the view.
