the flat4 engine in the bug will make me MUCH faster...the kit will cost me like 400 to get the engine mounted. and i need to plumb radiator piping from the back of the car to the front, which is going to be a painis in the anus. so now im not sure wheather or not im going to do this or keep the flat4 in it...

the pipings easy, just go get some steel/copper/aluminum pipes.

Have you ever seen where someone put a Rolls front end on a bug? That would look cool, and it would give you a grill for airflow. Just something that I thought of awhile back...

but the thing about the piping being that long is that if the engine is running hot it would take forever for it to cool down.

I'm sure you could find the thread on here somewhere. I think it was just a 13B, not 13BT, that the guy made fit in the bug.

It wouldn't take forever for the engine to cool down if it was running hot. Reason why is because if the engine has reached normal running temp, it's flowing already. There will be slightly more water in the system with two pipes running under the car. If anything, it may take longer to warm up.
