Depending on your knowledge of both of these cars you might be in for a treat. I've don this swap with a j-spec turbo. it wasn't as easy as I thought when it came to the wiring. placement is fairly simple. Know these facts first. 1. the differential yolks are different ( the stock t2 has a larger mounting pattern) I actualy drilled holes in my n/a diff yolk to fit my t2 drive shaft. I don't recommend this but it did work for me. Also the gear ratios are different. I found my t2 engine running at a higher rpm than with the stock n/a transmission. for the wiring, you need to find out what ecu you have and what your injector impedance is (ohms) some are 0.8 that require a resistor and others are 13 ohms that can run direct from the ecu. there also will be a few wires for the knock control unit that may need to be installed. As you can see there are a lot of plus & minuses when it comes to the wiring. I recommend knowing every single wire by heart so that none are left out. My car was a whole new one with that T2 in it. I still had a few bugs that I couldn't fix (considering I had to run the n/a ecu) but it still ran great. Good Luck!!!!
