G'day fullas,
Just wanted to know if anyone knew how much of a mish it would be to rotarize a honda city (fwd), or if it would be easier to make the honda a rwd first???? Big project here. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png |

I think you would almost have to go RWD with such limited space under the hood. Why not just buy an RX-7?
|
Yea, I'm guessing you would have to go RWD too.. there's someone I know who's said he knows someone who has a rotary engine in a civic. (https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub... I think it would be a waste of money.. plus, there's probably too many things to change.. just go with a FC or FD..

hahaha. The rice boys are going rotary.GET A 7.If you want to do a swap then at least start with a RWD then go from there with the custom mounts and driveshaft. Then the wiring starts. Its all good. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png

Can I install the engine so that it runs FWD???
I read about a kiwi with a FWD 323 with a rotary in it in Hot4s |
I just want something different and where I live there are heaps of 7s, I also wanted to put the rotary in a Honda city cabriolet so I can cruise with the rotary top down style. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif

not all hondas are rice. most but not all
|
doesn't the honda engine spin backwards from every other engine? so you'd need some other fwd transmission (not honda) also
|
I think that doing that would be really close to the absolute biggest waste of money. Right next to Saddams missle targeting systems which always seem to land 2 miles from the intended target.
