is this possible, sorry if it has been asked but its just a thought. is it possible to put the rotors from the new rx-8 into a 91 gxl non turbo? think about the power!!!!!!!!!!!! but i know hardly anything about rotary motors, its my first one(1991 GXL non turbo mint condition,66,000 miles) any good books that help you rebuild a rotary? ive done plenty of 4 bangers and 350's, but the rotary is new and im amazed by it power and handling!!!!!!Hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It may be possible, but the rotors alone aren't responsible for the power gains. It also has to do with the intake manifold, TB, and porting.

true, i think the reason for the high hp is the multi side port(whatever is called). unfortunately i never got a chance to dyno(thanks a lot vosko, lol) my rx7 before it died. I wanted to do a comparison, between "stock"(or what the car had done) to my project engine, changing the movable parts from the gslse to series 5 NA, hooked up to the stock gslse intake system. At least I have some timeslips, i might be able to compare those.
