I'm new to this forum and to the rotary engine, so please bear with me.

I'm looking into buying a 1991 Mazda RX-7. The current owner did an engine swap and put in a 13b n/a. The engine has about 45,000 miles on it and the body has about 110,000 miles on it. I know a good amount about cars and what not, but I don't really know anything about a rotary angine. So I was wondering if someone could please help me out.

I was wondering if there is anything specifically that I should look for when checking out the engine. What should I look for to know if this engine is in good condition or not? Hopefully you know what I mean, any info about the car or what to look for or anything else that is related would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome!

The engine should be decent with that mileage in an n/a, get the receipts from the engine swap, you should do a compression test, take it out for a drive, get it up to temp, see if it smokes and or leaks .
