Planning on installing a JDM TII motor into my 88 N/A and I have alot of questions.

What is the C/R of this engine.

will the N/A driveshaft fit and will it support 400 WHP

any good links to p-port documentation.

any idea if this swap will go in with little re-wiring or a link to a good write-up on the swap.

If it is a series 5 motor it is 9:4:1 i bleive if it is a series 4 it is 8:5:1. It is a good rule of thumb to have the series of the motor the same as the series of the vehicle but you don't have to.

The best way to do it would be to get a Turbo Tranny Driveline and Rearend. I do not beleive the N/A Tranny Driveline and or Rearend will handle 400hp.

A periphial port is not the best port for a streetable vehicle also it is mostly an N/A port as you can get the extra power with the Turbo instead of the port.If you would like to port it I would advise either a Streetport,Half Bridge, and or Full Bridge port although the Full bridge is not the most streetable either but you should be just fine. You can reach 400 hp just fine with a Stock port.

The swap is pretty straight forward. You will need at least Turbo Motor Complete with your N/A flywheel to bolt up to your N/A tranny.ECU, and wiring harness. The Best way to do this swap is with Turbo Motor Complete with flywheel,ECU,Wiring Harness, Turbo Tranny,Driveline, and rearend. You will also need to take the wiring for you Windshield wipers out of your N/A Harness. If you would like to keep your cruise control you will have to take and splice in wires to your Turbo Wiring Harness for it to work properly..I am in the middle of this swap and I have spent in the Ballpark of 6,500 dollars.Including the purchase price of the car around $8,000.I have also spent some money on parts that do not pertain to this swap. The easiest least expensive way would be to take and sell your car buy a turbo 2 and fix that. Also a new fuel pump would be a good idea.
