Hi, I'm Ed. I currently live in Omaha, Nebraska. I am trying to ask for help for information on how to build a rotary powered Datsun 1200 or Toyota Corolla 80-83. There are no vehicles like this in this area, and with a new dragstrip just outside the city, I would like to show the folks around this area what is this all about. However, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif I've been looking around the internet and I haven't had much luck. If anyone in your forum can help, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Alright Ed! All we need are some people who actually have valid responses now (unlike myself).

All though the 1200 ute will get quick boost off the mark,I would go with a corolla but not a 80-83.Try get your hands on a deal with a 70-74.You can fit so much more in the engine.

The 70-74 carrolla would be pimp. A friend of mine just found a 74 and we were considering that same thing. Looks easy enough.

Hmm, that's a PR mod. You been watchin some florida drag racing?

There's plenty of rotor powerd corolla out my way

u mean like this...
http://www.thepartstrader.com/SingleAd.cfm...D=111&C2ID=1000 thats my friends car, the engine was previously in a 70 corolla, then made its way into a 83 or 84 wagon and now in the liftback. in the wagon he would spank a lot of domestics on the 1/8 mile strip by his house. i personally think that an early 70s corolla is too precious a vehicle to do a rotary transplant. but thats just me. |
Yeah they go so hard...
