Hello all, https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif I have a car that I want to put a 13B-REW, or possibly a 20B in and I am looking for any and all help that I can get https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif . The car is a 1972 Bradley GT2 kit car built on a modified (highly beefed up) VW beetle chassis and has a Porche 6-speed transaxle https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif . I already have the adapter plate from Kennedy Engineering to mate the rotary to the porche. I am looking for the pros and cons for both the 13B-REW with a single Turbonetics Thumper Turbo (with ceramic ball bearings) Conversion and the 20b with the same turbo mod (diffrent turbine and compressor wheels natch) anyone who could help me by telling me there best and worst moments with either/both of these engines would be doing me a great favor. Thanks in advance to all. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

the question first should be asked is how much room do you have under the fiberglass on that car, if i am mistaken there isnt much room at all. a 13b will prolly be your best choice for a number of reasons, room, coast factor, easyer to keep cool , easyer to get parts for . you can get plenty of hp out of a 2 rotor, ever think about gettin a 13bre from the cosmo wich is the 2 rotor, the intake ports and intake manifold runners where far larger then the 13brew in a overall stand point , just the exhaust ports are D shaped and small. would remove the sleves and use s5 or 6 sleves. anyways these are all things one needs to think about when trying to do a car like that. also the turbo your chosing , a thumper. unless all you want to do is drag race the car there are far better choices out there.

Welcome to nopistons! I moved this to engine swaps, hopefully you'll get more responses here.

Thanks for the replies. I have the room for the 20B but I think that the 13B will be better for parts availability. What kind of power do you think that I might be able to get out of a 13B with Bridge porting and pollished intake and exhaust runners? I am looking for the 350-450 hp range or better. This car will be a daily driver, so reliability is a must. I have a 13B-REW out of a 90's (?) RX-7 that needs new seals, I am thinking of up-grading to 3mm apex seals. Any other interior mods that anyone can think of that will make the motor more bullet-proof. What kind of turbos would think would be more approperate? I have a friend that is running a "Thumper" on his RX-7 and it does very well on the road and has mind blowing acceleration once the turbo kicks in. I ran the profiles on my computer and figured out that the best profiles for the 13B would be a Turbonetics "pro-comp" turbine wheel and a Super T04E compressor wheel, and ceramic ball bearings. That along with the automatic/ adjustable waste-gate system off of a Lycoming Aircraft engine would provide very percise boost control throughout the entire power band of the engine. What boost levels would you recomend me running on the street? I have heard everything from 8 lbs. to over 21 (which I know is BULL). I have exactly 34 inches from the firewall to the back deck. Thanks to all who reply. -Magooganut https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683246.gif This is a Bradley GT2 for those of you who don't know.http://www.geocities.com/banzi_pirates/bradgt2side.jpg
