HY ROTOR BUDDIES. I HAVE A B210 DATSUN WITH 13X8 WHEELS, 215-50-13 TIRES,LOWERED, KONIS,SWAY BARS,NO BUMPERS, MINI RACER,STREET FUN CAR, AND IT IS TIME FOR A 13B ENGINE. THE ORIGINAL A15 IS IN TROUBLE AND INSTEAD OF REBUILDING IT I AM THINKING ABOUT THE 13B, WHICH IS MY CHOICE. I'VE BEEN AFTER A RX3 WITH NO LUCK(VERY RARE HERE IN US), SO A ROTARY IN MY B210 IS THE CHOICE. 13B WITH WEBERS TO SAVE ON THE COST OF THE TURBO. LATER ON I WILL REBUILD THE 13B AND GET A TURBO SET UP. IS ANYBODY PERFORMED THIS SWAP BEFORE. I AM READY TO BUY THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION FROM JAPAN, BUT I NEED SOME ADVICE.

THANKS

CHEERS

JAIME

check out rxpower's website, 2rotor.com, i think they have a datsun.

also not to say that a 13B is a bad choice, which is not, but have u thought about something newer along the nissan lines, like an sr20 engine?

either one would make a nice ride.

and for rx3, check out thepartstrader.com

Hy. I thought about the SR20DET, but it is a heavy and big engine as compared to a 13B,for that matter I would rather install a 20B, which would still be lighter and less bulkier than a SR20. The 13B is small and will fit easier, I think, that is why I am seeking the advice . The amount of parts in the SR20 is more than triple of the 13B parts. Besides, I can afford the engine and transmission, but the computer, computer instalation and the related parts would overflow my account. I am planning to use the 13B with headers and carburators(Weber or Dellortos). The turbo , which I will add later, will be an added feature, in the future. My other project, is to install a 20B in a Datsun 610(180B), but that will be later, next year.

Any info on rotary powered 120Y(aka B210) will be appreciated.

Thank you buddy.

http://www.2rotor.com/ this is the only place off the top of my head that has dealt with rotary datsuns.
